Recently I watched an old movie "The Sound of Music". Probably in 20 times. I do not know that so involves me in this film? And still very much it is pleasant to me of "50 First Dates".
All the matter is that I cannot live without melodramas. Every time I wonder: how can you play the role, so to transmit all the feelings, emotions? Men tend to laugh at us, women. They prefer the actions, westerns.
But I think that in any genre of movie is not received as much attention to the human soul, as a melodrama. Although sometimes there are romantic elements in action movies or science fiction. I think thanks to it such serious, sometimes brutal, movies become so human, so close to the viewer.
Our life is not easy, but a small part of romance and optimism only helps us to survive in this world. In all melodramas and romantic films the heroes do not only overcome their difficulties, but also do it with love to relatives, with humanity and humor. When we look such film we have a good mood. It helps us to survive the next day, to cope with the troubles at home or at work. Because on the screen - the ordinary people who could to overcome their problems and not lose his own soul. And each of us can also.
What a good mood we have after viewing the movie "Anna and the King"! How much courage and patience is necessary for heroes to confront an evil fate. What sublime feelings and passions! We understand them, we sympathize and empathize with their grief and misery.
And how sweet - "City of Angels" or “Kate & Leopold”! The actors have created wonderful images of their heroes. Kindness, compassion, empathy, courage and self-sacrificing love - these are their basic qualities.
And there's a wonderful old movie "Roman Holiday". Such sense of humor there has never been in one movie!
A more romantic films - is a great opportunity to dream. Isn’t it great to imagine myself in place of some of Cinderella? And nothing prevents us to cry over the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
And let men laugh at our tears! But we know that sometimes, when we do not see them, they also look melodramas. And some of them even crying.
We need melodramas to maintain an optimism, a femininity, a sense of humor and love of family. And I think women around the world agree with me.
